Please help... somebody?!?

I was watching VH1's "Pop Up Video" about 2/3 years ago and saw a music video I cannot place (I don't know the band's name nor the song's). It was an 80s themed show...

I remember these things:
apparently it was directed/produced by the same guy who did Men in Hats' "Safety Dance" video/song... which is apparent since the band plays on a stage in a medieval setting. I also remember a violin-type sound/solo and that they were often mistaken for a UK band...

I've checked Spin the Bottle's web site and have d/l all of Tim Pope's directed videos mp3s, but cannot find it anywhere.

HELP!

that IS the song... i was 80% sure after hearing it... i also d/l the music video (which then confirmed that it was the song).

Slade were a UK band. Scotland I think?? I'm not certain...

Slade were an English band. They live in the Midlands and comprise of at least four band members. Two of which I can name 'Noddy Holder' (lead singer) and 'Dave Hill'.

They formed in the town where I was born. Wolverhampton.  :D
