Is it me or is there too many similar songs in those "retro" collection?
I'm going to bring up some forgotten songs from the 80's:
most of these are r&b & adult-contemporary, since it seems that they are the most forgotten.
James Ingram & Patti Austin - How do you keep the music
playing (from the movie "Best Friends", one of the best slow jams ever made).
James Ingram & Michael McDonald - Yah mo b there
Kenny Loggins - Heart To Heart
boz scaggs - look what you done to me
stanley clarke/george duke - sweet baby
philip bailey - i know
paul anka & peter cetera - hold me 'til the morning come
jermaine jackson - lonely won't leave me alone & I get this feeling.
midnight starr - midas touch, don't rock the boat
kashif - are you the woman
tease - firestarter
stacy lattisaw - pretty much anything from here (let me take you down, perfect combination (another beautiful slow jam), million dollar babe, etc.)
bernard wright - who do you love
chico debarge - talk to me
prince - partyman, hot thing
gino vanelli (one of the best singers) - living inside myself, black cars
glen frey - the one you love
??? - take it easy (not Andy Taylor)
there are so many others.
