Subject: Hello Kitty
Does anyone else remember if Hello Kitty was popular or not in the 80s? I remember playing with Hello Kitty but it wasnt a lot of toys, mostly neat little note pads and stamps and pens and stuff so I think I was older and into that "lets have a club and all have matching stuff...etc etc, phase" so it was probably 90s but Ive noticed that all the 80s stuff is back...they have popples, carebears, strawberry shortcake, hello kitty, rainbow bright....its all coming back...my daughter is really into Hello Kitty...she is 5 years old today and she got a Hello Kitty comforter and sheets for her room and a Hello Kitty lamp and some Strawberry Shortcake dolls, and clothes...and Im making a Hello Kitty cake for her skating party next week. its kind of neat to see my child playing with the same things that I played with when I was her age.

Absolutely. :) I was around a bunch of kids (girls & boys) who liked all of Sanrio's creations. Here's a link for you to see their other creations:
