Subject: College movie?

Back in the mid-eighties, I think, I watched a college/high school - movie. I'd really like to find it but can't remember the name of it, anyone out there who could help?
I can't remember any actors or the story but I think it started with one of the characters from the movie who had done a cartoon. It starred a couple of bunnies on a picknick, all of a sudden someone (?) started shooting with a machinegun or something like that....
I realize its kinda hard but I thought I would give it a try anyway:)

It sounds like you are talking about One Crazy Summer. It starred John Cusack, Demi Moore and, Bobcat Goldthwait. Circa 87, 88.

one crazy summer and better off dead are 2 of my favorite movies!! the "cute & fuzzy binnies" were funny.
