What is about this board which attracts such a great variety of females with a keen sense of pop art? Next thing you'll tell me is that you're from Portland or are from somewhere near Maryland. Even scarier if you're a Gemini because then I'd have to keep you :-*
A top ten. Hmmm. Only ten?! Okay, ten... for now. I'm assuming top ten from the 80s since you posted this on the 80s section...

:) :D ;D You know what's funny? I used to listen to Modern Talking, but nobody even knows who these guys are when I mention them :P ! They're not exactly alternative, but they're definitely not winning any popularity contests either. Ha! Now I can't get that "Brother Louie" song off my head ;D !
Btw, Freur rulz! They went on to become Underworld :D !

Subject: Re: top 10 alternative 80s songs
i used to love rem but i saw them live in houston and michael was so mean to the crowd...
they only played 2 songs that ANYONE knew... and that's pretty freakin' hard to do with REM...
he even made the comment, "this song wasn't good enough to be on our last album, but we're going to play it anyway"...
i was totally disappointed because i really did like them...

Yet another '80s classic that no one seems to remember the correct title to (just like the whole "Tarzan Boy"/"Jungle Boy" thing)... :(
It's actually called "Never Say Never". And the video was cool, yet relatively simple - VH-1 Classic plays it quite a bit... :)
Subject: Re: top 10 alternative 80s songs
"Never Say Never" is indeed a very cool song. Having grown up in radio wasteland when that song was released, I actually didn't hear it until AFTER I heard "A Girl In Trouble (Is A Temporary Thing)", which inspired me go back and discover things I missed.
