Hi Folks,
It's been awhile since I've been on the good ol' In the 80's site. I have a question for all you music experts. Does anyone remember a song with these lyrics in the chorus?
"Melody danced her way right into my heart,"
"Melody stole my heart then danced away."
I just heard this song again on this new radio station that plays a lot of '80s music. I just barely remember it, but I'm pretty sure it's from the 80's. Can anyone tell me the title and artist? (Tried Google... no hits)

Hey no problem.If you like that song I can suggest checking out Malcolm Burn(lead singer of the band)has some solo stuff that is quite good.I get the albums out from time to time and give them a spin and always enjoy listening to his tunes.Unique sound with the band and solo. 8)

Thanx for the info about the lead singer. I'll keep that in mind. I'm really glad I re-discovered 'Melody'. It's such a great song... kinda surprised it wasn't more popular. In the 80's I bet I heard it fewer than 10 times, but when I heard it today, I remembered the tune right away.

Yeah, that song is great. I saw the video a couple years ago and I've liked the song since.

96.9 the Jack!! Crap, I can't get my radio OFF it!! Isn't it just the BEST? And rumours persist that Larry and Willy will be moving there shortly!!! It's gonna be like the Fox of the 80s!!

The station is B 103 is Victoria. It's not bad. They play quite a lot of obscure 80's... songs that you've heard, but weren't big hits. But I'll have to check out 96.9.
Larry and Willy probably should move on to an older station. I think those two are pushing 40 or over. The FOX's modern rock format is too young for them and maybe the 'JACK' would be a better fit.
Nice to bump into some locals here. :-)

Yep, L&W are way too old for the FOX now...the only station I've listened too from Victoria was The Q...I'll check out B103 if I can ever get my radio off The Jack.
