Subject: Zippered all weather boots in all colors from 80's

Can Someone help me...my friend wants to know the name of the all weather female boots from the 80's. She says that they had a zipper and went below the knee...not sure how high, but they had a heel and also came in weird colors..like green and black and possibly other...she said that she thinks the brand name began with a G...but is not sure

The only zippered boots that I remember as a kid were those black SNOWMOBILE BOOTS I HAD TO WEAR! Oh GODDDDD! I hated them. Remember you could take the liner out of them? And that was almost all the time because they leaked! I remember kids putting their liners in like bread bags and then putting their boots on!
Moon Boots.....those are ones I wore, too. I had pink ones!!!

hrmm. That sounds really familiar...I think I might have had some moon boots but if I did it was when I was REEEEEEEEEEEALLY young. Did they ever make them with My Little Pony on them?? I remember having some My Little Pony boots. Im sure if I dig around enough I will be able to find a picture of me wearing them while out playing in the snow. I think its only snowed 3 good times in my entire life. We rarely get snow here. We usually get at least a few flurries every year but never enough to stick.
