Without a doubt my choice is Press Your Luck!That show was so EXCITING!People would have all that money and then hit a "whammy" it was HILARIOUS!The whammy cartoons were funny too.Remember the Boy George Whammy or the Michael Jackson one.Thank God it still comes on Gameshow Network!

I liked Press Your Luck too! I remember the Boy George and Michael Jackson Whammies!!! Too funny! I also enjoyed Sale of the Century, Scrabble and the $25,000 Pyramid! :)

It was Price is Right, but now, in my house, my fiance' is all about Press Your Luck rerums and Whammy! on Game Show Network.

the Gong Show was my all time favorite. I also liked Let's Make a Deal. I wish they'd put the Gong Show on GSN. ;D

My favorite 80's game show was Press Your Luck. I'd also like to say I wish Wheel of Fortune still had people go shopping for their prizes with the money they won. I don't know why as a kid I liked this but I did.

Press Your Luck was one of my favorite shows during the 80's. I still watch it today occasionally when its on Game Show Network.
I also liked Scrabble and Love Connection.

I DO have to admit, though, that as far as evening game shows go....it was Joker's Wild and Tic Tac Dough ALL the way! I thought the dragon was SOO cool! :)

I watched all the NBC gameshows every day as a kid. My favorite was definitely Press Your Luck, it's simple and to the point, like a hyper version of Wheel Of Fortune without all the puzzles! I love to watch the people forget strategy and throw it all away for just one spin, their greed gets the best of them.
