Subject: Public Image Limited(PiL)
Does anybody here enjoy them? I used to be obsessed with them. I have every 12",45", and album that Johnny put out in the 80's. I really wish he would come out some new stuff. JOHNNY, WHERE ARE YOU....YOU IRISH BASTARD!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;)

I have a couple friends that really like this group and know a lot more of the songs than me. Although the song that I usually like to listen to by PIL is Disappointed.

That is on one of the later albums. My favorite album by them is called Album. I was one of the few people in my high school who listened to them back in the day. I have always been a little ahead of my time(or something like that). :)

I saw them open for Big Audio Dynamite in Vancouver and they SUCKED!! Sorry, it's just my opinion...Johnny was funny as heck though...tossin' condoms out to the crowd after unrolling them and rubbing them up the legs of his shorts...and being generally goofy...he looked like he was having a great time but it was just noise coming off the stage...funnily, the first band on the bill was an unknown band called LIVE...they made a lasting impression!!

Listen to "This is not a love song", "Rise" (Classic) and "Bags".
They are really cool.

My faves by PiL are "The Body", "Rise" and "Disappointed." Of course right now "Don't Ask Me" is running throught my head...
