Count Chocula was my favorite. Now my daughter loves it too. My boyfriends mom still has some toys that he got out f the boxes in the early 80's. They are like big squeeky toys but one is Count Chocula, one is Boo Berry, and one is FrankenBerry. I tripped out when I saw those...They had gotten stuck in with Christmas decorations and I came across them while helping his mother decorate.

You know, I was going to talk about that, too. I wonder why it didn't catch on? You could tell they used real banana material instead of artificial "banana" flavor. (Maybe people were afraid it would be that fake flavor, which is why they didn't buy it.)
And those short-lived cereals of the 80's. There was one called OJ's, an orange-flavored cereal.
Subject: Re: Cereals
Cocoa Pebbles is my favorite cocoa cereal! :D

Fruity Pebbles
Kellog's Corn Pops

they're always mixing the marshmallows around? It's like,One year,we see
red balloons, another year we see green horseshoes,etc...
How about something different this time? ::)

Subject: Re: Cereals/ help?
I ate Crispy Critters too. I had forgotten about them. I still remember the song too from the commercial.
I also remember eating a cereal that I cant quite remmeber the name of..its a little fuzzy but I think it was called
"sunday comics" or something like that....and I *think* Dennis the Menace was on the front of them. I dont remember what shapes the cereal was in but I know they were all different colors and I think they tasted kinda like trix!
Does anyone know what this is??

A few years ago, a consumer magazine here did a study of all available breakfast cereals in the country, and reported that all Kellogg's cereals were as nutritious as eating a bowl of sugar. Kellogg's reacted by saying that their cereals are only meant to be "part" of a nutritious breakfast, but someone else made the point that, with the level of "cereal" these products actually have (almost none), they should really be called sugar confection.
;D

Why do you think they say eating a "complete" breakfast, including <insert name of cereal> will help you get a jump start on your morning? With all of that sugar? Who wouldn't be on a sugar rush? Why do you think I only feed my kids cereal when school is in session?(JK!)
One of my favs was King Vitamin.
