Subject: VH1 is the best, they're showing...
Starting on December 16, 2002 VH1 will air a show called "I Love the 80's" it starts at 9:00 eastern time.
Each one-hour episode takes viewers on a stream-of-consciousness tour of one year of the Eighties with vivid flashbacks of the people, music, movies, TV shows, products, fashions, fads, trends and major events that defined pop culture that year. I Love the 80s is MTV, Rubik’s Cube, Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Michael Jackson jackets, “What you talkin’ bout, Willis?”, Donkey Kong, Purple Rain, “Don’t Worry Be Happy,” Baby on Board, Who’s the Boss?, Milli Vanilli, yuppies, preppies and of course, the Coreys (Haim, Feldman, Hart).
This is going to be a ten part series, one for each year from 80-89. You guys cannot miss this! Holla back and tell me what you think!

considerings it's VH-1/Mtv.. I won't hold my breath for it to be good.. they've done enough really bad shows in the past for me to know better than to expect anything halfway decent out of them..

Does anyone know if this is the BBC production of "We Love the 80s"? It ran a year ago in the UK and was highly successful! :)

I SAW that ! I was so psyked when I seen it, and seeing as tho' I don't have cable, I told my sister to beware that I'll be coming by every Monday to watch it unless of course she tapes it for me... ;D

That's exactly what I was thinking. I pretty much guess it is the same one or an American equivilent beacuse the outline sounds just like the BBC shows. They were very good - I was them all from 1980 - 1999.
On a slight tangent - for our Media production coursework we have to produce a documentary and my and my friends wanted to do a 'I Love 2002' as kind of a spoof, but teacher wouldn't let us :( !!
