Subject: Another Cheesy movie
Did anyone see the movie "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"? I know it is a cheesy movie but I love it. But of course it is the Beatles' music that really makes it. There is absolutely nothing like George Burns singing "Fixing a Hole" or Steve Martin singing "Maxwell's Silver Hammer." (I guess we can be thankful for that lol)

The critics sure had a field day with this one. I still thought it was pretty entertaining. Too bad Peter Frampton's career went straight to hell after he appeared in this film.

I thought Sgt. Peppers was a terrific and fun movie, for the type of movie it is. Obviously, it was meant to be cheesy...if not, what were the writers thinking. ;D I remember I had a pretty big crush on Peter Frampton back then. Whatever happened to musicals? They were such fun movies.

I own it too. I watched it again this weekend, that is why I posted this. I really like the end when they show all the "guests" of Hartland but I think it would have been so much better if they included the Fab Four in that.
