Subject: Everything She Wants!!!!
Yesterday night i went to a very fashionable club here in Lisbon, they never play 80's or even nothing "comercial", but i was amazed when they played a short remix of a song that i dont remeber for maybe some 12 years or more.... "everything she wants" by wham!!! i dont remeber these song for a loooong time! i just love it, it as a rythm sooo 80's! well... i just want to share my happiness with you!!!

I just saw the video for "Everything She Wants" on VH-1 Classics the other day. While watching the video, I kept wondering "What the heck did Andrew Ridgeley contribute to the group?" Lucky guy, I think he got a free ride on George Michael's coat tails and made a lot of money!!! :) ;D
Subject: He was definitely cuter!
Well, I think Andrew Ridgeley was definitely cuter than George Michael. Something about ol' George just skeeved me out! He was just too pretty, and his teeth were just too white!!

Everything She Wants is a great song. It's so 1980's! Their 1980's material is great. Wham could've lasted, at least, 'till the early 1990's. Too bad George Michael had to blow it (no pun intended ;)).

No I don't think they would have lasted till the early 90's, at least not as a strong group. I think they could have stayed strong till about 1988 or 1989, but Wham would have certainly grown unpopular and fizzled out like most 80's groups and artists did during that time of 1989-'92/'93. Wham lacked the charisma and oomph that Bon Jovi had to survive during that time. Wham was more like Duran Duran, locked into one decade.

Well, early 1990's does include 1992 & 1993. ;)
I don't agree with your assessment. Bon Jovi was just a whole other genera of music.
What destroyed those two groups, Wham & Duran Duran, was themselves.
