Hey everyone I just wanted to say that I had never, in my 19 years on this earth, seen Footloose until this past Saturday night. I loved this movie so much. And for you ladies reading this...I never actually thought much about Kevin Bacon's looks but he is so good looking in this movie, seriously. Also I love the character of Ren...I like his attitude and his dancing in that old barn or whatever it was. Any of you think that he is good looking in this movie or like his character as well?? Anyone have any other thoughts on this movie aside from Kevin Bacon's looks and his chararcter?  8) :) ;)

Ah, yes, Footloose.  I have that movie taped catually and have never gotten sick of watching it, in fact in my cd player you'll find the soundtrack to Footloose, which is killer by the way  :D  I had never thought about Kevin Bacon's looks either, but in that movie, isn't he just to die for...lol...  

Footloose, definitely an 80s classic and a must-see for any true 80s afficionados!!! :)

Definitely a very Fun 80's movie.  I haven't seen Footloose in ages...Another movie I need to see again.  By the way Kevin Bacon still looks pretty good now.  I have never thought much for Kevin Bacon's looks but you have to admit he has aged well.  

The musical opened in Sydney this week - not sure how long its running for but if its on when I get there at the end of the month I will go see it.

not gonna comment on his looks but thats a mean kick in the face he gives the bad guy near the end 8) 8)

i loved the movie too and its just been released on dvd over here and so has flashdance.  I want to go see footloose the musical but so far they havn't said any thing about it coming to brisbane

I'm 24, I grew up in the 1980's but I never bothered to watch "Footloose".  I don't know why, I've always known of the movie and what it was about, but I've never seen it.  I guess I never got around to it.    

But I've heard the soundtrack many times, and its very cool.  One of the better movie soundtracks of the Eighties----even if it does sound VERY MANUFACTURED.

I remember seeing that about six months ago with my best friend and it was so good!!!!!! wow, it's right there with dirty dancing as one of my favourite dancing films.

I dare say, Dirty Dancing is a far superior movie...better soundtrack too :)

Kevin has certainly improved with age!!!!  Did anyone see him in the episode of Will and Grace.  Dear God-watch out!!!  He played himself and even did a little dance from Footloose.   It was great!!!

I just picked the Footloose soundtrack on vinyl a few weeks ago and it has some classics on there, especially the song by Shalimar.  I saw the movie for the first time at the theatre, but what's even funnier was it was the first part of a double feature.  The second movie was Splash!
