Subject: Some food memories...
I was just reading a list of extinct foods. Here is a list of some of the things I used to like and was wondering if any of you also liked these foods when they were still around:
-Burger King Burger Buddies(they were these little hamburgers/cheeseburgers that came in 3's)
-Crispy Critters Cereal
-Ecto Hi-C(came out after Ghostbusterswas released, if I remember right it was green)
Modified at your request, 80sRocked ;)

I didn't know Big League Chew was extinct, either. I know it was created, or co-created, by Jim Bouton, the ex-major league pitcher and author of the notorious Ball Four. I was on a Bouton web site a while back and it mentioned BLC but didn't say that it was no longer available.

yah, I'm wondering if it was a mis-print or something, because I am almost sure it is still around. Come to think of it, I think Bubble Tape is still in stores too. I am going to Email the webmaster of the site I saw these so-called "extinct" items and ask them.

Bubble Tape is still around. I buy it for my daughter often.

OK, after searching the net for the answer, I found that neither Big League Chew nor Bubble Tape Gum are extinct. In fact, they are still widely produced and available for purchase. I don't know if they are still in stores, but you can order them from the distributor. So, delete those 2 items from the original list in the original message in this thread.

I think the Big League Chew bags are still the same as they were 15 years ago, but the Bubble Tape box has changed some so that it's now more like a tape dispenser and you don't have to open the thing all the way to get to the tape.
Another favorite is the Ring Pops and the Tootsie Pops...they're still kicking after all these years.

How about those Lick"M Aid's where you'd dip the white chalky stick and dip it in three different flavors:cherry, lemon and grape? Do they still sell it anywhere? -howard-

Big League Chew is still around. I've seen it when I go in the small marts.

Big league chew is sold at all military commissaries as far as I know. Bubble tape is also available in these places. both of these products taste exactly the same. My wife gave me some bubble tape the other day and it took me way back. I am not sure where you can get these in the states but in Europe its easy as long as your in the military.

yah, I found that out after I posted the original post in this thread. For some reason, the site I was on had it listed as "extinct", along with Bubble Tape Gum.

I would love to find a Hostess Pudding Pie. Those were the best.

LOL, Crispy Critters, with lotsa c-runch! I LOVED ecto-cooler..they still sold it in the 90's I think, not sure about now..
My favorite drink of choice is still TAB cola..the original diet drink. I remember when they changed the sweetner in it to nutra-sweet , eck! They changed it back in the end though.
