Subject: Has anyone listened to Peter Gabriels new album?
Has anyone listened to the whole thing? I only listened to a little bit of it on the weekly top 40 (one of the songs was #1 in Italy) just wondering if it was worth the $14.

I've looked at the reviews...
Seems that Up is only for the serious fans of his music, as the others will find themselves losing patience and only spinning it a limited number of times. But serious fans will apparently really like it. For $13.29? Who knows. Cheaper than you'd get it over here.

He performed on one of the TV talk shows (I don't remember which song) and I was very NOT impressed. In his defense, however, I find quite a few artists less impressive on those shows than they are in their recordings. I wonder what's the problem.

I listened to bits & pieces on a US Delta flight recently (on their radio network). It was okay; not spectacular. I'm not going to run out and buy it.
Delta also showed a breif "Behind the making of 'The Barry Williams Show' video." The video is a spoof on the Jerry Springer show. Peter used the name Barry Williams because it sounded good musically & lyrically, not knowing there actually was an actor by the same name. The actor Barry Williams is in the audience in the video.
