this tv show/ movie began with a young woman diging in her front yard. she finds a box, inside o it is a sundial on a chain, she wears it as a necklace.

one frantic morning, her amilys noise just gets to her.

she screams, SHUT UP!  

time stops.

She figues out to get time to unreeze she says, Start talking.

time passes. she takes ull advantage of this power.

at the end of the movie, she comes into her bedroom to find her husband in tears, holding the kids tight in his arms. Everyone is crying.  

It is nuclear war.

at the last moment, she Screams,

SHT UP SHUT UP SHUT UUUUUUUUP!

time freezes. She takes the necklace off.

she goes outside and starts wandering around.

she finds a man pointing at something in the sky, it is a nuclear missile frozen in time.

very scary.

someone please tell me the name of the movie, or show or anything any one might know about this.

The ending sounded vaguely familiar to me....it reminded me of  a Twilight Zone episode.

I did a search and came up with this:  The 80's version of the Twilight Zone (which I loved back then)

It was definately a New Twilight Zone episode from the '80's.  I remember it.
