Don't worry - Darla and I talked about you OFTEN !! hehehe.  We were going to put out a Missing Persons Alert !!!   ;)

I have been wanting to thank you for all the info you sent me some time back - there was a glitch with the private messages and whenever I hit reply Darla's name came up.  Anyway - it was all exactly what I was looking for.  I am still looking at selling up and moving in there - but have put it on the back burner for a while - while I finish renovating my place.

I am still working on the Save The Ent Cent project - I have about 15 articles to scan and add to the site.

Am seeing one of my 80's idols in November at the Showroom - Chris Isaak.  Then I am going to the Canberra and Sydney gigs !!  I went to see him in Sydney in May and begged and pleaded for him to do a proper tour and come to Perth - he said he would but I never expected it to be just 6 months later.  Amazing what grovelling can achieve these days !!

Well, I have to say I've missed the 80s chats we've had here too... I think after the big prob that affected the forum I was a bit disillusioned seeing all our messages wiped!  :-[
So i took a break (went on holiday to Europe for 5 or 6 weeks to visit with family etc) and now I'm back for the attack!!  8)

OK, I'm ABSOLUTELY BESIDE MYSELF today, and i gotta share with some 80s freaks (as only you can understand my excitement)!... as I said in my first post, Joey Tempest has (today in Scandinavia) released his first single in about 5 years titled "Forgiven".
He is appearing and performing on 3 Swedish TV shows this week to promote it. I visited one of the shows websites to see if they had web-TV so i could watch the broadcast half a world away...but it was all in Swedish and I didnt have a clue what it was saying.
SO, I mailed the site and told them I was an 80s Europe fan and asked if they had web TV, and I received a reply one day later from the shows director saying "No, but if you send your details, we'll mail you a copy of the show on VHS". (!!??)
Now as if that werent nice enough... but when I replied by thanking them and asking if I could send them some S$$s to cover postage etc, I received another reply: "No, thats OK, but please send us your photograph and we'll show it on TV when we interview Joey Tempest and ask him about his fans abroad". (!!!?!! *sqwark* !!!?!!)

I'm TOTALLY demented with excitement!  :D
Doesnt that prove that there still are some GREAT people out there in the big bad world!?
