Subject: Song question????

I heard this song on the radio for the first time yesterday. It is from the 80's because it was on an all-80's station, but I had never heard it!
The chorus goes something like:
"doo doo doo, da da da, more than I can say to you. Doo doo doo da da da..."
...or something like that. It sounded like Peter Setera possibly, but I don't know. Help me please! It was a good song and I want it!

It was the Police. The title of the song fittingly being "De - doo - doo - doo, De - dah - dah - dah". I don't know if that's spelled right or not.
It was off of the Zenyata Mondata album - I also don't know if that's spelled right.
