??? I was hoping with great anticipation that someone can answer this; I don't know the name of the band...hence, the burning question:
There was a brit-pop band (& I believe that the remake was done in the mid to late 80's) that did a remake of the Beatles "Strawberry Fields Forever" WHO IS IT?

You're thinking of the U.K. male duo, Candyflip. Their cover of The Beatles' "Strawberry Fields Forever" was a big hit here in the U.S. on the modern rock/alternative chart in the Summer of '90. (It failed to cross over to the pop chart.) Although only originally released as a single at that time, it was later included on their 1991 album, Madstock... . Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, although it did come out on CD here in the U.S...
