Subject: Did I dream this???
This has been driving me crazy for years...
I seem to remember a tv show that was on at night, but I can't remember the name. There was a family, the parents and teenage brother and sister. They were on vacation or something and ended up in a museum or pyramid or something and all got sucked into an alternant reality. Every week they were transported to a new reality/world. Sort of an early quantum leap.
There was one episode where the kids were rock stars using beatles songs, because nobody in that reality/universe had ever heard of the beatles. Another episode, all the men were slaves and women were in charge.
So, does anybody remember this and what it was called?

This plot sounds very similar to 'Sliders' ;D

Wasn't the teenage boy called Tracey, and he had to prove his bravery in one episode by touching a blue flame, and when he did, the bad guy asked him how he knew the flame was cold.
It was on in England in the early 80's, and it was the first Saturday show after "World of Sport" ended it's 20-odd year run.
Other shows that followed were "Hard Time on Planet Earth", starring the Bad guy out of Karate Kid II, and "The Greatest American Hero" about a school teacher who finds some special suit that lets him fly, Robert Culp played his CIA sidekick
