Subject: Help me figure out this 80's movie please!!!
Ok. I have been thinking about this movie for years, the only problem is I don't know any actors in it and I don't know the name of the movie. I was very young when I saw it, but would very much love to see it again. All I can remember is that somewhere at the begining of the movie the girl of the movie goes downstairs for breakfast to discover her brother is eating creme corn for breakfast (or if my memory is REALLY bad, may it is the girl that has the creme corn for b-fast) either way one eats creme corn and the other is disgusted by it. Also, the idea of the movie is that this girl can walk through her mirror in her bedroom to another world. I guess it could be closely related to Alice In Wonderland but this movie was not a cartoon and as far as I know not Disney. Oh please, if anyone can help I would very much love you!!

Kris3484, maybe this movie was Labyrinth with David Bowie. It has a similar premise - Big sister saves little brother. I haven't seen this movie in quite a while so check it out. The least you will have is a fun time - it was a great movie from '86.

Labyrinth is a GREAT movie but unfortunately its not the show you are thinking of.
and although this sounds familier to me at the moment I cant come up with what it was called.

Neverending Story
It seems like there was another one along those lines, but I'm probably thinking of the already-mentioned Labyrinth.

I love you as a brother but Legend was completely immersed in fantasy and Neverending Story had no "real-world" female lead.

The movie is the "Huggabunch Movie". I just posted a thread about it in response to someone wanting it in the "Wanted" board. I know exactly what you are talking about. There were all those Huggabunches running around and singing in their world, which was through the girls closet door mirror.
