What was your high school class song...mine was Bruce Springsteen.... Glory Days
Subject: Re: Class song...
Ours was the sentimental "Never Say Goodbye" by Bon Jovi!!!! :)
Subject: Re: Class song...
I think it was "One Moment In Time" by Whitney Houston. :P
Subject: Re: Class song...
You don't even want to know what mine was. I graduated in '93 from a private school:P I suggested Pink Floyd's "The Wall". Didn't get my way. It ended up being some Hymn:(

I don't even remember what my grad's song was but I do remember a grad that I went to in about '83 - it was Never Give Up on a Dream by Rod Stewart. Here's a little Canadian trivia for you - the song was inspired by Terry Fox and his run across Canada.

No offence taken Jonman - lots of schmaltz was produced, and LRB had their share, although I suggest Air Supply produced a greater amount......(100% ;D)....

We had "A Time to Hold On To" or whatever the exact title was of that Billy Joel song. It was a lame song. :-/ I like BJ but that was probably his worst "hit" if you ask me. And of course I got stuck w/it at our prom. Plus it's printed on our souvenier glasses.
And incidentally, I LOVE Air Supply! :D

Correct title is "This is the Time" - and I find your feelings about the song most ironic, considering that the B-side of that single was "Code of Silence", his duet w/ the gal who appears in your avatar... :-)

LOL - well, musicfreak, I'm not aware of B-sides! (I adore music but frankly I've collected very very little through the ages. Mostly rely on radio.)
I can understand someone liking the song, but I just think it's boring and not very flowing; not sure how to express it. It seems awkward or something.
I like Cyndi Lauper in general, but I chose the avatar just 'cuz it's 1 of the few 80s-type things on the choices, and yes, I sorta had some of that style back then! ;D

Class of 1990.
Chele ;)

Mine was, I thought, the "standard" 1987 class song - Never Say Goodbye by Bon Jovi. I was NOT happy about it... I love Bon Jovi, but that was everyone's song!
Subject: Re: Class song...
If I remember right....it was "Finer Things" by Steve Winwood
Subject: Re: Class song...
I still remember mine, it was "Ebony And Ivory" by Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. I graduated from Van Nuys High in 1983, and that was a perfect song for the time. To bad we forgot about that less then 10 years later, and my city went up in flames again.

Well, I graduated from high school in 1997, and our class song was from the 80's. It was Simple Minds, Don't You (Forget About Me) I thought it was a great choice.
