;DALF rules! As does "Quantum Leap," "Magnum PI," "Mr. Belvedeire," "Pee-Wee's Playhouse," "Moonlighting." A good guilty pleasure would have to be "The Golden Girls" (surprisingly, a lot of college girls enjoy this show) :D
The WORST shows have to be "Friday the 13th: The Series" (AHHHHH! ::)) and at times, St. Elsewhere (this show tends to be TOO weird sometimes, but it has ha its good moments--hmmm, Mark Harmon :-*)
Subject: Re: Best and Worst 80s TV Series
I almost forgot "The Wonder Years"!!! That was a GREAT show!

I gave you my "worst" show. I don't know if I have a "best" show, except what I really enjoyed was the wrestling shows that took place in a TV studio with an elementary classroom-ful of people in the audience. These shows had this atmosphere to them that I liked.

Best: The Cosby Show/Moonlighting
Worst: Punky Brewster (I don't know why. It just annoyed me for some reason.)
Subject: Re: Best and Worst 80s TV Series
Mrs. Seinfe.., I mean Ochmonek was probably the best thing about Alf. It certainly wasn't Alf itself. If they had gotten a cuter voice, like a Mini-Me, I would have liked it more. But I guess that wasn't the "beauty" of the show, wasn't it? ::)

WARNING!! WARNING!
Frequet use of 1980s hair products, such as Aqua Net (As mentioned earlier) and Jheri Curl can cause flashbacks, but they can also cause amnesia.
I've heard some bad stuff about Manimal. That show does sound PRETTY pathetic! I've never been lucky enough to see it, but if is capable of aggravating me as much as the last 2 minutes of "Viper" did, then it must be bad.
Argh... :P "Viper"...now there's a winner for ya. I used to put on the Sci Fi channel 2 minutes before "Quantum Leap" came on, and about 3 out of 8 of my "QL" tapes have the last 2 minutes of "Viper" on them. Those people couldn't be any STUPIDER than they were. I won't vent too much about it because it wasn't an 80's show, but the car was cool.
Oh, and somehing else that I thought was cool on TV in the 80s--"Knight Rider"!! This show kicked butt in SO MANY ways! KITT was awesome!!! My 10th grade US History class (in November 1998) had to watch the movie "1776" in class, and when we saw and heard William Daniels (as John Adams), the whole class yelled "Knight Rider!!" Great show, great show!!!

I think I watched Punky Brewster sometimes. Best TV Shows of the 80's: Different Strokes, Perfect Strangers, Facts of Life, Family Ties, Three's Company, The Cosby's, Its A Different World, Magnum P.I., Knight Rider(that was a cool show back in the day) CHIPS (I loved chips when I was 5-6 years old) Worst show: I don't know but I just did not like The Wonder Years. I also remember the last "Who's The Boss" episode which was kinda sad(I was 12 years old in the 6th grade back in 1992) now "Who's The Boss" is kinda corny and dated. Of course that led to Alyssa Milano being a big star. Finally, though "Its A Different World" was probably my fav 80's/early 90's show. Cree Summer and Jada Pinkett rocked back then. Jasmin Guy who played "Whitley" I just didn't like her character at times but towards the end there I started to like her charcter a little more. Kadeem Hardison who played "Dwayne Wayne" on the show was always funny. Also ALF was pretty cool. I think I outgrew ALF a long time ago though.

I can't beleive anyone put Knots Landing for best. it was probably the best drama in the 80's. :) the worst would be Jake and the Fatman. never understood the show.
