Subject: You May Dislike Michael Jackson Even Further
For those who didn't already know -
Michael Jackson and Sony/ATV acquired the rights to Acuff-Rose publishing. Aside from the massive Beatles catalog, Jackson and Sony now have control of over 50,000 country and rock songs which includes works by Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers and Hank Williams. Sony/ATV will also buy the immense song catalog owned by Gaylord Entertainment for $157 million.
Recap of Jackson's latest drama:
Sony Music issued a statement in response to Michael Jackson's comments:
"As for Mr. Jackson's complaints about what he perceives as poor sales of his most recent album, we can only say that Sony Music spared no expense in creating and executing a series of global marketing, promotion and publicity campaigns in support of the album. The bizarre, false statements Mr. Jackson made, make it clear that his difficulties lie elsewhere than with the marketing and promotion of Invincible."

And I could've sworn I heard a report that McCartney was close to getting them back :( Well, I guess it's official....I cannot dislike anyone (Or in Flit-boys case) Any Thing more >:(

:-) That's what I thought, too: hence the "crap" parody...

I read this topic about the Michael Jackson album "Invincible" some time back. Now I know I'm going quite a few pages back to dig this one up, but I thought I'd tell you this.
A few days ago, I saw a CD of "Invincible" for sale - can you guess where - on a tape & CD rack on the counter of a gas station, occupying the same space with "Merle Haggard's Greatest Hits".
No wonder "The Glove" is ticked off.

I would rather have Merle Haggards greatest hits, Looks like he can't even corner the highly competitive "gas station market". :)

I don't think I can dislike Jacko any more, unless he forks over the moolah for the Nirvana (and other alt-rock bands featuring high-profile dead people.) :(

Going through some old posts, I thought comments like this were funny considering they were made before "Jacko" practically tossed his kid out a window. I wonder how everyone feels about him now. :)

Never really liked him, but now, think he's gone off the deep end! As a mother, I think the kids should be taken away from him. Not just because of the balcony thing, but because of the way they are secluded. I mean, come on, everyone is entitled to their privacy, but taking them out in public with veils and masks on? I can just imagine what they are feeling having to live like that... :(

I AGREE!!! Michael Jackson is too mentally, physically and emotionally disturbed to give those children the proper, stable, secure and down-right normal up-bringing.

I agree with 80's Cheerleader and Hairspray, those children shouldn't be with someone who obviously has so many...err..issues. I feel sorry for them. They will never have a normal life. Wonder what the day to day life is like in the Jacko household? :-/

Thank God for that!!!
Seriously though, I can understand his wish for their privacy, but there are stars who are MUCH more famous than him, and you don't see THEM treating their children like that. Says alot for our child protection agencies, doesn't it? :o
Oh, and who actually buys the "they were conceived naturally" story??? ::)

I sure dont. MJ is too much of a perfectionist for that. Im sure he picked out the traits he wanted and had the perfect egg cell and perfect sperm cell create his kids. God forbid if his kids had an ugly nose or something ::)

::)Come one, it's another unknown medical condition, just like the one that made his skin whiter than mine!!
Subject: Re: You May Dislike Michael Jackson Even Further
How did that happen anyway? I mean, your body can't just suddenly decide it wants to STOP producing melanin! ???

We're not that dumb to believe all the "balony" stories speewed by this freak.
"Disease" my foot! >:(
It's all to generate excuses and sympathy for all of his freakish behaviours.

I'm sure it was some kind of surgery, but I didn't realize it was actually possible to suck all the black out of your skin! :o

It's like putting peroxide on one's hair to make it lighter.
Bleach components at safe doses could also be an explanation.
We'll never know.

face anymore.Maybe,he should just dye his hair blonde. :o
