They didn't ask for a photo J.C! But maybe that's a good thing, beacuse I never take pictures well - I always have my eyes shut!! The one decent photo of my is at prom, and I don't really think that would look appropriate up there :)

Even so, I guess it might have been nice for people to know what I look like - I don't have a scanner to post one up somewhere on the board though!

...kind of cliché-ridden, too: but that's writing for your audience.  Certainly the crew here are more likely to cheer about slagging off some of today's "stars".  But it is a bright, fun and very readable article.  Well done, Criz

Indefnitly - and what I said in the article were my honest opinions. I guess pop music today just doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. Who knows, maybe songs such as 'Barbie Girl' and Brintney/S Club/*Nsync will be praised by many in 20 years time, like we all love the 80's. Somehow I doubt that, but you never know. :)

I reckon that there are good and bad bands now, just like there were 20 years ago - it's just that we only remember the good ones now.  Same as in any genre of music as it is for any era: there's good and bad C&W music, classical music or heavy metal.  I actually quite like some C&W (e.g. The Gambler by Kenny Rogers), but some is unutterably awful trash... I will admit to a grudging respect for SClub, too: they are a very professional outfit and do perform their stuff well.  Whether they'll stand the test of time... who knows?  That may be the subject of another thread: which of todays bands do people think will be around in twenty years...
