Subject: 80s cereals
Someone ... please tell me what was the name of the cereal with this commercial tagline - "Get along lil' blueberry, get along?" Help!
Subject: Re: 80s cereals
Yeah, I vaguely remember this stuff. I remember the “song” from the commercial anyway. It was animated and there was a cowboy-type guy herding blueberries, singing that jingle.
I think the cereal was like a blueberry waffle kind-of thing. I also recall it not being very good. Something like the waffles basically tuned into soggy, blue sponges shortly after being introduced to milk. Hmm. Did it turn your mouth blue too? Can’t see why not.
Anyway, sorry I couldn’t be of much more help. I do think they were going for a “little blueberry waffle in your cereal bowl” thing.

Yeah, that’s definitely it. Good job. Good job, crazydon. That brings back some memories of cereals that I ate one bowl of then asked my mom if we had any C’apn Crunch left. ;)
Wow, there are some winners on that page. Robin Hood – Prince of Thieves Cereal!? Who’s the ad wiz behind that gem?
