Subject: Bleached Jeans??
Remember in the 80's we all basically LOVED :Dbleached jeans.
I can't seem to find them anywhere any more.
Is there a way you could take a pair of jeans and do them yourself.............how do ya do it! ???
Pokey ;)
Subject: Re: Bleached Jeans??
I didn't care for them any more than ripped, torn, shotgunned, acid-washed, nuked jeans. Course I'm not into jeans in general... Have you tried just washing your jeans in bleach? Better yet, make designs on it using bleach. :)

You mean you actually paid for them that way ? Man we all bleached our own !
OK Bleaching instructions:
Get yourself a spray pump type bottle - fill it will the purest concentration you can buy - mix a little 20% vol peroxide and even some ammonia in it.
Hang the jeans on the clothesline. Stand back - preferably wear clothes where it wont matter if they get wrecked, wear a dust mask and glasses, and spray to your hearts content. Dont over do it tho - I once totally disolved a pair of jeans as they hung there !! Wash before wearing.

I thought mixing bleach and ammonia created poison gas?!!!!! :o :o :o :o
If anyone does try this (and I wish you wouldn't), please, please, please, please! Don't mix it indoors AT ALL!!!!!! >:(
Not long ago there was a news story about a woman who died from inhaling the fumes because she mixed bleach and ammonia to clean her house. :'( :'(
Subject: Re: Bleached Jeans??
:) I swear I never blew up my house with this concoction - and my friends and I were constantly bleaching our jeans and jackets. Definately do it outside and always with mask and gloves.
Oh - and to actually make it explode - just add fertiliser !!!! NOT RECOMMENDED ! :-X

"Hey Jerry, let's grab some ammonia and bleach and some horse crap and blow up old man Smith's barn!"
