Whats was yours? Honda Prelude, Chevy Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, Toyota Supra, etc?

1987 Buick Grand National. I'd still give my left nut to have one in good condition.

Hard one... many nice cars....
I'd say the Lamborghini Countach 5000S Quattrovalvole, the BMW M635CSi, and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante.
Have a nice day, everyday!

I'd go for the Lamborghini any day, if I could pronounce "Countach" properly - maybe it'd have to be a Diabolo ;-)

PS E38B12 - that your registration number (license plate to the guys over the pond)?

Well my favorite car came out in 1991, and before that most of the cars I like would have come out in the 70s. But, if I had to have a car from the 80s I'd take a Knight Industries Two Thousand with the optional Flux Capacitor package.

Oh, how I wanted a Pontiac Fiero in the 80's! Mom wouldn't buy me one though.
"You'll drive too fast and get into an accident!" ::)
So I got a 4 door Ford Tempo instead. :'(

That funny she said that, because a base model 84 Fiero had only 92HP at the Crank, Pretty slow by todays standards.

I always liked Smokey & The Bandits Black Firebird with the screaming chicken on the hood...
Subject: Re: Favorite cars of the 80's?
American Cars: Plymouth Conquest, Dodge Daytona, Plymouth Laser, Chevy Camaro. Japanese Cars: 84-85 and 88-89 Honda accords, 84 Honda Civic Hatchback, I can't remember if It was a 240SX or 300Z(I always get those 2 models mixed up)Nissan put out in the 80's. I know it was in some movies in the 80's. It could have been under the old Datsun Emblem. Finally, I'm glad eveybody is posting some good looking pictures of cars on these boards. Nice choices for cars. I sepicially like the photo's of the RX-7 and Fiero. I was always wondering what kind of Buick that was and now I find it was a GRAND NATIONAL. I'm suprised that model was from 87. I thought that model was from 84 or 85.

89 Pontiac Trans Am turbo. Fastest American production car at the time. Grand National V6 and only came in white. 1500 made.
Subject: Re: Favorite cars of the 80's?
No Phil, E38B12 is actually not my license plate number, the E38 B12 is a really rare modified BMW 7-series built by a german company called Alpina between 1996 and 2001, but only sold in Europe.

My favorite car has always been a corvette. It didn't matter the year. I love the early ones and later ones.

My '79 Town Car. ;D :-* Well, it was in the '80s!
Well, I didn't get a hormone boost out of many '80s cars, except 1 for sure - those hot gorgeous Monte Carlos mmmmmmmm. And their cousins Grand Nationals too. Now, I have a new MC which I love compared to anything today but if they made them like the '80s, I'd trade in. ;D
I liked plenty, though. I liked the Lincolns - TCs and Mk VIIs only - and the CrownVic/Marquis. (Cadillac was at its pit in the '80s, except the Fleetwood.) I always (so far) like a Corvette and lesser a TransAm/Camaro. The Fiero was cute, as were MR-2s and the 280/300Zs and such.
