No, it runs thru Tarzana, a full 5 miles below Reseda. As for being part of LA, well if the *%##@*!! Valley Successionists have their way it will soon be Nimby City.... >:(

I think Tom Petty's best song is "Louisiana Rain." (Which, BTW, is another one that mentions Baton Rouge. :-[ )

But won't it be fun when war's declared?
As for the question, I can't think of a Petty song I don't like, but I don't know a lot of them.
And has anyone noticed that his is the PERFECT music to play pool by?

Yes. Sherman Oaks is about 7 miles SE of Reseda. The 101 runs thru it. But it wouldn't have sounded as rythmic in "Freefallin'" ;)

Yeah, but I'll have to fight against most of my friends. :(
Langdon, I've been meaning to ask you--are you a "valley girl" too or are you on the other side of the hill? :)

I can't play pool :-/
Los Feliz? Dude, you must be, like, loaded or have some sugar daddy takin' care of you. I went to a party there many, many years ago, and they was this humongoid place with 10 bathrooms and all kinds of antiques, rugs, art, statues, junk, etc. The guy that owned the house drove something called a Qvale - whatever the hell that was (it costs $120K USD!!!). The roads were awful though. Very bad roads. Very, very bad.
Um, yeah, I like Tom Petty too. "You Got Lucky" and "Mary Jane's Last Dance."
