2. merchandise
3. insect

2. The Tubes "She's A Beauty" (...but you can't touch the MERCHANDISE.)

Since nobody replied on #3 and this thread is getting buried already, I will just post the answer.
#3 was "Empty Garden (Hey, Hey Johnny)" - Elton John's ode to the late John Lennon.
