Mine was 1983, David Bowie ('Let's Dance' album) and the ticket price was $13.00  :o.

I haven't been to a (major) concert since '87, for U2's 'Joshua Tree' tour, and am blown away by today's ticket prices!!

Sincerely Yours,

More than like the only rock concert I'll ever attend. The Rollings Stones "Steel Wheels" tour of 1986 (I believe). I went with my dad, a very big Stones' fan at the time. It was fun, but there was a lot of standing, and pushing and shoving. There were also pot smokers behind us. And the police tried to arrest the troublemakers in the nosebleed section. :)

I know it was Aerosmith, but I'm not sure of the year.  It was sometime in the early '80's, before all of them were clean and sober.  It wasn't the best show I ever saw.

I went to see them again about five years later, (after they were all clean and sober) and it was one of the best concerts I've seen. (Andreas Vollenwieder edged them out by a hairsbreadth).
