I'm looking for the title and artist from a song that plays over the opening credits of Morgan Stewart's Coming Home. It's a cheesy movie from '87 starring Jon Cryer. I think the song is called Painted Moon but I have no clue who sings it.

The song is indeed titled "Painted Moon". It's by The Silencers, and was a minor hit here in the U.S. in the Summer of '87. It was off the group's 1987 album, A Letter from St. Paul. Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, although it did come out on CD here in the U.S...
