Subject: Koo Dé Tah
Anyone ever heard this band? The reason I ask is that I read alot of threads about "One Hit Wonders" and it's usually stuff that was somewhat commercial in the U.S. Anyway, they had a song called "Too Young for Promises" that was on a dj remix service I used to subscribe to, and I just ran across the original 12" from 1985 on Ebay and won it for a few bucks. The b-side sounds like it should the background for a gratuitous dance scene in a film.
Cool song...maybe it would show up on a file sharing site someday :P

I have that mp3. I got it from trading mp3s with someone. I don't think I remember the song, but it is pretty good.

After much searching, I've found a good website about Koo Dé Tah. You can go here for some decent information.

I remember seeing them as a support act for someone way back - maybe Icehouse - will have to have a read of the old diaries !

I definitely remember the name of the group. I recall reading about them in copies of Aussie Smash Hits magazines that my penpal Janelle sent me from Australia. Unfortunately, I never heard any of their music so I can't comment on that. A big thumbs up to BoBo for finding that informative site! :)
