Subject: Magnum P.I Compared To Other 80's Non-Cop Shows
Did anyone like Magnum P.I.? It was by far, my favorite 80's detective show. I don't consider it a "Cop" show because he was not a policeman...I say this as I just posted about Cop shows :)

I'm sorry RockandRollFan but the best detective show was
Simon and Simon! 8)

i never got to see many 80s detective shows, but 'magnum' was the one i liked the most of all of them. my mom liked it a lot, too, mostly because she likes tom selleck.

I liked Magnum P.I. better than any other detective show.

Magnum ranks up there, but I got a little tired of him always telling me he knew what I was thinking :P. Simon and Simon was also good.

Hmmmmm........ Magnum or Simon and Simon? Very tough choice there...
I liked Magnum more, I guess, but only because I never really got to see Simon and Simon that much...

I liked both Magnum P.I. and Simon and Simon. It is hard to pick which one I liked better. ;)

I would choose Magnum P.I. as my favorite "Non-Cop" detective show and Hill Street as my favorite "Cop" showI just edited the title of this topic to be more clear on this....what can I say, I wasn't thinking when I posted the old title. Sorry for the confusion ;)

I did like Magnum PI, along with hudreds of thousands of housewives like my mom. However, other "non-cop" shows that we enjoyed were Hardcastle and McCormick, Riptide, and especially the EQUALIZER ;D
The EQUALIZER was a bad MOFO. Smooth, sleek, and debonair, he could pass for a college professor, a politician, or a hit man. One of the best PI, hired gun, shows of the eighties.

Like Magnum P.I. ? Who didn't like Tom Selleck? ;D

Ok, I am going to go out on a limb and mention one that no one else has mentioned. I loved Moonlighting the best. (pre the Dave and Maddie debacle, that is)

That was a terrific show....I'm glad that you mentioned it :D

Magnum PI was the best. I missed a lot of it sometimes. Do we ever find out who Robin Masters is? Riptide was cool I loved Joe Penny's corvette. Hardcastle and McCormick was good. I remember they always would check their pulse to see who was working harder. When was Knightrider on?
