Subject: Swim Meet Songs
Will be doing the public address at a high school swim meet a few weeks from now. Can anyone come up with song ideas that are swim related (i.e. Splish Splash - Bobby Darin, S-W-I-M - Bobby Freeman, Kicks - Paul Revere, Every Breath You Take - Police, Stroke- Bill Squier) that I can use to pump up the excitement? Any responses will be greatly appreciated! Thanks again! ???

Gosh you thought of some good ones - I instantly thought of "Breathe Again" - but now I have hit a blank as to the singer - it was a female. I will keep thinking :-/

How about "I Go Swimming" by Peter Gabriel, or the Talking Heads version of "Take Me to the Water"?

I think it was Toni Braxton.

Isn't it "Take Me to the River?" Good song. Like the TH version.

How about "Wash It Away" by Blacklab
or "Nightswimming" by REM?

Oops, thanks for the correction DJMidas, the song is called "Take Me to the River."
I miss Talking Heads.
