I had to really think about some of them, though..... the fast-food one, for example.....I lived in the 80s, but I was a kid (had to duelve into the deepest recesses of my memory)

I want to thank you for taking youngcricket's post about the members of the "old crowd" who seem to be MIA to heart, and trying to change the current tone of the board in such a positive way by starting a lot of great new topics!
I know you care about this place very much, and your actions have shown that time and again.

I'm in a similar boat. The topics have me thinking for hours, even when I'm not online. Some of them are being answered by others before I can figure out the answer. An unpleasant event a few years ago has affected parts of my memory, making it hard to recall events I was not personally involved with. :( :(
And for the topics that have more than one correct answer (What was your favorite...etc) I find I have more time to post when I'm at the office. I'm not constantly being interrupted by whatever's going on around me. ;)

The new topics are great! :) Sometimes people come back to view a post to see if anyone has responded to their post. I do that a bit, because I like to keep up with a thread I've participated in!
But I still only respond to a thread that I have something to share in, so that may be what a lot of others are doing. :)
