Subject: A Martin Short/synchronized swimming question
Hello everyone!
Remember the SNL skit involving Martin Short and Harry Shearer as male synchronized swimmers training for the Olympics? Funny stuff.
My question is, what's the name of that peppy instrumental number that was being played as they were training in the pool? I remember hearing that tune many times, especially on Monday Night Football, but I can't find the name of it! Any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated!

I don't remember the song; I just remember the coach's instruction. "No no, you're not angry at him! You're just pointing at him as if to say, 'I know you! I know you!" :)

My sister and I used to reinact that scene all the time. In fact, I think that I have it on tape somewhere. I'll search for it and listen to the song again to see if I can help.

OMFG!! I almost pissed my pants when I first seen this skit!! ;D It HAS to have been one of the funniest years on SNL!! hehe
Harry Shearer is great (as is Chris Guest!) I love when he did that "Eat at Joes" skit. :P Anyone remember that one??
Not sure what the music was ???

The song that they played was "Far From Over" by Frank Stallone (Sly's bro). That's the only song I remember from that sketch.
