Subject: A classic movie from the 1970s

I can't remember the name of this movie. It was set in the countryside I think. And the girl gets kidnapped and taken to a dark place. I think it's from the middle of the 70s probably 1975? I can remember the theme song about a carousel. That's all I remember! It's been 12 years since I've watched this classic movie. And I only saw it one time.
