Rock, Metal, Punk, etc. I will kick this off with one of my favourites...
In 1977, Randy Bachman left Bachman-Turner Overdrive and two years later, formed a new band called Ironhorse, and their 1979 debut single Sweet Lui-Louise peaked at #26 in Canada, #36 in the US and even reached #60 in the UK. I love this song so much, I even own a physical 45 rpm copy!
