One of my mom's cousins got married on the last day of that month! The cousin, who was 18 (not quite 19) at the time, married a guy who was in the navy at the time; they have lived in the Seattle area for their whole married life.

I wouldn't be alive for a further 18 years after 1972, so no. It makes me wistful because I wish I knew my grandfather, whose in the photographs and died 3 years after.
