From 2005, here is one called Love on My Mind by an English DJ duo called Freemasons.  It samples the 1979 hit This Time Baby by American R&B singer Jackie Moore.  For all you music lovers, you might also recognize lyrics from the 1999 Tina Turner hit When the Heartache is Over.

Here is the 2010 hit Barbra Streisand by the Canadian/American DJ duo Duck Sauce.  It samples the 1979 hit Gotta Go Home by German based disco group Boney M.  Here is an interesting fact:  Both songs peaked at #35 in Canada.  I actually didn't know that until making this post lol

In 2002, a British duo called Rikki and Daz sampled the 1975 Glen Campbell hit Rhinestone Cowboy and released it as Rhinestone Cowboy (Giddy Up, Giddy Up).  What's awesome about this is that it was more than just a sample.  They not only got Glen to re-record his vocals, he even appears in the music video. 

If you know Glen Campbell's music, then you know this is way out of his element, so the fact he agreed to do it was fantastic!  Oddly enough, it was not released in the US, but it peaked at #12 in the UK

Here is a current one called Rasputin by Majestic x Boney M.  It is more or less a heavy remix of the original 1978 Boney M disco classic and it is quite well done.  Rasputin is a party classic and was a hit song just about everywhere except the United States.  This new version has almost equaled that success in most countries and even has (so far) peaked at #11 on the US Dance chart
