Subject: 70s cartoons

They say the 70s were a cartoon wasteland (too many Scooby clones for one thing). However, I think they were quite watchable. Take Hong Kong Phooey for example. Or, the Charlie's Angels cartoon rip off (Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels) that did what the real show never dared do - incorporating an African-American main female character.
Josie and the Pussycats was obviously a Scooby doo clone but they had some very catchy tunes (future angel Cheryl Ladd provided back vocals). And all the girls were hot! In fact I even like all the Scooby Doo shows from the 70s, even ones with Scrappy. Do you remember these? Do you like any 70s cartoons?
Looking back on HKP, Rosemary eerily sounds similar to Lois on Family Guy:

I didn't really grow up in The 1970's cause I was just turning 5 years old when the 70's came to a close, I really grew up during the early to mid 1980's.

I liked all of the cartoons the OP mentioned (Hong Kong Phooey, Josie and the Pussycats, and Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels). In fact, I've actually watched a couple of episodes of Hong Kong Phooey not too long ago. Then there are the Super Friends. one of my introductions to the wonderful world of superheroes; Pink Panther; Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids; and, if you count anime, then there's Star Blazers, one of my all-time favorite cartoons.

The greatest 70s cartoons were “Scooby Doo, Where are You?”, “Schoolhouse Rock”, “Hong Kong Phooey” and “Super Friends”.
I think 80s kids had the best childhood, but there were certainly some cool things that children of the 70s had .

I'm lucky. My childhood straddled both decades - late 70's to early 80's, so I got to experience a lot of good things, including some great Saturday morning cartoons!

That’s an 80s cartoon.
Super Friends was the greatest cartoon to come out of the 1970s.

The Jackson 5 cartoon. Couldn't wait to see the first episode when it debuted. Imagine my disappointment when I woke up Saturday morning after 7am to find out I missed the show at 6. :\'( We had no alarm clocks in the house either, so I missed a lot of the shows.

This cartoon set the score for the 30 minute toy commercials of the 1980s:
