There's no way I can narrow down my favorite 1971 songs - even 100 would be difficult. Thus I'm taking a different tack. I'm now answering this: what were my top 10 1971 songs back during 1971 - when I was eleven? With that, here we go, counting down (more than 10, oh well ::) ):
