The first half of the decade was great (with the exception of crap like the Osmonds), but the latter half was too Bee Gees and disco-saturated for my taste. You can see a foreshadowing of '80s New Wave sound at the very end of the decade with songs like My Sharona and Pop Muzik.

There is nothing wrong with The Osmnds, they were the voice of the age!

Trouble was, just when you got rid of one, there was another to take their place!
Kudos to 'em all tho', they all come out relatively unscathed!

The had some good hits such as One Bad Apple and Yo-Yo.
