Subject: Help! What was the name of this show?

I remember it being on I believe PBS in the northeast early 70s.
I think it was Saturday or Sunday morning.
It had an animated opening with the lyric " just around the corner, maybe a mule eating cactus".
That's all I recall.

"just around the corner" is bringing "Lidsville" to mind but that's just a guess.
