Really loved "Baker Street". Apparently he had some rough personal times after this big hit. Sorry to hear of his passing this week.

Loved Baker Street too.
Gerry passed away in Jan 2011.

I hate it when they come back ... and pass away again soon after! ::) I have both Baker Street (possibly the best song of the 70's IMO) and Steelers Wheel's Stuck in the Middle on my ipod. He had such a great smooth voice. Well he did before the first time he passed away ... not certain how he sounded before this more recent death!

I really like this one. I don't even remember it from back in the day. :-\\ Possibly it didn't make in Australia as a single. I cam eacross it a couple of years ago and enjoyed the way their voices blended. A great song... Rafferty really did look bored in this one.
