Subject: Is it me or Amii Stewart was ahead of her time?

In my opinion, Amii Stewart was way ahead of her time with that music video:

I mean it was released two years before MTV, yet it looks much better than a lot of music videos made in the first MTV years like 1981-1984. It's also very artsy, sexy and provocative, way before Madonna, Kylie (Her dress in 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' was almost a copy of Amii's, save for the hat and pearls), Britney, and Lady GaGa. And many other female pop singers. Yet, she doesn't get any credit at all. Is it because her video was released before MTV and it didn't have enough exposure?

The Jackson's "Blame It On The Boogie" was released in 1978 - a year earlier than "Knock On Wood".
