What do you remember about the late '70s in terms of:
-Popular culture in general
-Politics (Jimmy Carter vs. Gerry Ford)
-Music (what was big, what was out, what was on it's way up in popularity)
-Fashion (men and women's--Around what year did the louder fashions of the '70s begin to die down? When did the sideburns disappear)
-Movies (Memorable movies from 1973, 1974 and 19750
-Society in general (When did Discomania start as far as you remember, what about Punk and New Wave)?
-Your general memories of the time

This thread better not head down a decadeology path coz it will be shut down fast.
There will be NO DISCUSSIONS about what is the mid or late part of a decade in a thread when I am the moderator.

One person is leading this thread towards decadeology and mindless discussions as to what is a mid or latter part of the decade. And the thread has been locked because of that.
Please review the rules of this site in regards to decadeology and why it is banned in the link below.
