This reminds me of my sister's kitchen (the same sister who is in the above pic). Her Significant Other bought the house from my uncle. So, the whole house decor was basically my aunt's taste-which was the '70s gaudy look with lots of golds, oranges, etc. My sister & her S.O. has been redoing everything but it is taking a while. There is an argument going on: S.O. wants to do the house up the way it was originally, (BEFORE my aunt & uncle moved in) and my sister doesn't.

I wish I could show you some pics but I think my sister would REALLY have my head if I did.

We actually won the lot with that box which is now in our inventory room. Anyway, my mother would get a whole bunch of boxes like that that she used for Christmas decorations, her knitting/crocheting projects, etc. So, it may just be one of those. Though, it could be something else.
